Rude or not, it was in response to being picked on for no reason. If everyone hadn't been giving him **** to begin with, he wouldn't have responded in kind. What did you guys expect him to do? Sit there and take being called names and told his cars were stupid for no reason other than people didn't like the way he posted?

 

Holy crap what the hell is wrong with some of you? Who gives a **** if he drives an Auto or not? Wow. I did not realize the hate towards automatic, this is insane, some of you really need to think twice before posting.

I drive an automatic and im proud of it. Though paddle shifting is cool too.

 

 

Dude, There is tons of knowledge on this forum, which is what I like to get from it, and also give some of my own through the years, but there is a lot of immaturity as well, and i'll tell you it doesn't only come from the younger guys. Its mostly the older guys who are just out right bored or miserable. Seriously people, get a life.

Yep it was a ridiculous. If you came across someone else on the streets driving an RX-8 (auto or not) you sure as hell wouldn't treat him this way in person. And you would probably say "Nice car..."

 

You'll always have an "elitest" or two regardless if you're in the real world or the web. It's funny how these guys give **** to someone, most especially a noob in this forum, and when that noob fights back and a flame war ensues.... they jump on him and blame him for starting this ****. Typical elitest mentality.

JRichter hits it right though. If this would've happen face to face and in the real world, they would've treated him differently. But since they hide in the veil of anonymity in this forum & the internet, plus the fact that they have an "audience" to show off...... only proves the "Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory" I found in one site:

That picture is so awesome and SO true. People LOVE to hide behind their pc's and love to 'hate' on everything that people do. So these idiots are dawging him, cuz its an auto? Maybe he's not in it for the 'stick shift' experience, and maybe he doesn't care about the split second difference in performance times. Dude, if your 25 and you own 2 nice cars outright, in today's economy, obviously you are in good shape. Kudo's to you. Hope all this non sense doesn't deter you from the forum, b/c there are definitely some very cool and knowledgeble people here that we all have a lot to learn from. G/L with your AUTO 8.

 

i completely disagree, he seemed to be sensitive from the get go. from page one, after no one said anything really...

to me it was more of him seeming easily agitated, so others jumped in...but he was the first one to call anyone a name. lets not even talk about all the other somewhat arrogant comments he made throughout to continue to fuel the fire.

 

I fell victim once....a few months after I became a member. It's like newbie-hasing....lol. I lost my cool on that threat...but now....I've learned to ignore threats and comments from people I don't like. It's no point in arguing or fighting here...it's just retarded and a total wast of time. Nobody wins in these situations.....it just takes up a lot of your precious time..that's all.

Besides the whole reason THEY doing it is to get you agitated, angry and lose your cool.........once that happens you instantly become a victim!....so don't fall for that.... just ignore them and they will leave you alone eventually!.....
