Need help from the Photographers!
My sis bought her boyfriend a new Nikon D90 and had no money left for a tripod so I bought this tripod off a friend for next to nothing and it was barely used so I figured I'd give it to him for his new cam. The problem is the part that screws into the camera is lost and the company that makes this is out of business. Do you guys know if this part is universal. i am going to try soem camera shops tomorrow but figured someone here might be able to help. Thanks!!

It is called "Quick Release Plate".
I think you would be able to get one from the shop.
If not, measure the size and go online.

Great camera! I've had it for a couple of months now and have taken thousands of great pictures and videos. The lens they bundled it with is excellent. Make sure you get some 8GB class 6 HCSD cards (Kingston or Sandisk are good, don't buy the cheap stuff, you seriously get what you pay for with these cards)
