Don't let Ike see it...he thinks strakes are rice but the big *** wing on a STI isn't.

I like the strakes......did you ever consider getting strakes that were paint matched to the car?

girlegirl, I really like those strakes and I was looking at them on ebay for a while. How do you install these strakes because I guess there are different types now. Let me know, thanks and it looks great! I hope to get a pair of these and put them on my SS.

thanks for all the postive comments

well they are pretty easy to install....you have to go under the plastic behind your wheel....put your hand in there and pop out the vent. when you have the vent out you put the strakes where there suppose to be and screw them in from the back make sure there straight and then take the tape off and apply them to the car.....then put the plasctic back on right behind the wheel....

okay im not that good and explaining but hope it helps!!!

think im just going to go with black painted calipers....if i go red or blue i might be to ricie

K&N typhoon intake is coming in this week

the strakes look great......Ive been looking for a place to buy them other than Mazda (so freakin expensive)....thanks for the tip....I ordered them last night from ebay....I just bought a shinka on the 10th of this month....I think the stainless will look great on the black cherry and compliment the rims.....
Its nice to see another female spiffing up her 8.....got clear corners coming in, working on side aeros, splash guards and a rear spoiler with the dealer...they will have to be custom painted d/t the black cherry

girliegirl,

Is that your blue rx8 I drive by going to work parked in the shopping center lot on US-19? If it is, then I can definitely say your ride is sweet.

The pollen is getting NASTY down here even over on the east side. Its a nightmare for a black 8!!! I have a nice clean car in the morning and I come out 8 hours later and its COVERED. Ahhhh the Kozak:-) It wont help my burning eyes though
