The last few weeks before taking delivery of my 'Hi Power' are going tooooo sloooooowly ..... so to give myself at least some '8' satisfaction I've put together a screensaver. It's my homage to the RX-8 "A sports car like no other". Playing along to the animated slides is a damn fine song that is very appropriate (I'll let that bit be a surprise, but it's about 1000 times better than Mazda's 'Zoom Zoom' song). I'd like to share my creation with you all.

Would anyone like to host the file for me ?

My appologies for the delay getting this screensaver posted. I had some difficulty getting the file through firewalls and ISPs to The Beav who is very kindly hosting it for me. The time delay between Australia and the US didn't help either. Anyway.....

RX-8 Screensaver by P.D.U

You simply need to unZip the file to wherever on your system you keep your screensaver (.scr) files (mine is WINNT\System32) and then choose the screensaver in the normal way (i.e Right click on your desktop, select properties, screensaver, and locate the .scr file) Voila !!

Don't forget to turn your sound on. I hope you enjoy it.

an alternative way of installing it is stick it straight in the windows main directory and it should then show up in your display properties, i thought about sticking a readme with install instructions in it before i uploaded it, but i decided not to alter an artists's work in any way

oh and i likey the screensaver, good job

yeah great screen saver. I had one just like that with the "my picutre slide show", but i like this one better. But i can't get it to be my screen saver. I can watch it, but i can't put it to be my actual sceen saver? what do i do?? i tried that .scr and i couldn't find it.
