new to RX-8s..

figured I would post and say Hi...I have been a Volkswagen guy for the past 10 years and decided to change it up a bit and picked up an RX8 last week. I must say it is great car and very pleased with it.

but it is a 2005 Winning Blue, 6spd, ground kit, xenon, and leather heated seats. Just got it tinted and put on the mazdaspeed exhaust(pics do not show exhaust)

I have been busy getting parts for the last week

Picked up a mazdaspeed exhaust, Tein S tech springs, front mud guards, and some 18x8 Moda EB1 wheels for a few months...when summer comes there will be a different set.

Waiting for a warmer day to get all these parts on and I will update the thread.

some may like and some may not, but my past VW's and these are only 2 of them. Dont need to clutter the thread with these.

Welcome to the addiction! Nice VW's you had there. If you live near the philly area you should come to one of our meets when the weather gets alittle nicer. If your not from the area I'm sure you can find a nice gathering somewhere close to you. One of the best things about owning a rotary is the community but seeing as your a VW guy you came from a good following as well. GL on your rotary adventures! Oh and one thing you MUST do atleast once, is take the car out on the track someday. You wont regret it!

Welcome to 8club My first car was a 1976 Scirocco. I miss that car! BTW why buy the Moda's for Winter wheels if you plan to get another set for the Summer? You could have just put winter tires on your OE wheels.

azpartsexpressonline is a seller on ebay that sells these new oem parts really cheap

if u message him asking if he has other colors he most likely has your 8 color

(haha sounds like im advertising for him, but i got my rear and side flares from him and they were perfect)

Picked up a set of track wheels for dirt cheap...2 piece 18x8.5 ATS Apollo...have some curbing but I will be taking them apart to repair them.

They feel pretty light, but I will weight them when the tires are off.

test fit the ATS wheels....
