New Rx8
I Just Picked Up My Nordic Green Rx8 On May 22nd. Since I Have Added Rims, Clear Corners, Strakes, Lowered It And Painted A Couple Of The Engine Covers. I Am New To This Forum And Would Like To See What People Thought. Any Ideas On What To Do Next?

That's good looking enough to get me thinking about buying a green one! Really nice job on the wheels and engine dress up. Maybe custom green/black leather seats would be good next?

Thats a pretty nice set-up you have right now. The color is a different choice, but its pulled off pretty good with that choice of ADR wheel color too. So what kind of suspension did you get? Also, what size tires and wheels are those (width, offset, etc.)

Rims Are 19" X8.5" With A 32mm Off Set. The Dropkit Is From Springtech And Is 1.75" Lower Than Stock. It Seems Like It Is Lowered The Front Over 2" And Is A Little Sketchy In And Out Of Parkinglots. I Have My Mechanic Looking Into A Air Ride Suspention(bagges). Not And Crazy Side To Side Or Back And Forward But A Simple Up And Down.

The Paint I Used For The Engine Covers Was A "plasti-kate" Import Color Touch Up Spray Paint. I Got It At Pepboys And It Cost $3.50/6 Oz.can (i Needed 2). ALL I DID WASS WASH THE COVERS THOROUGHLY AND LET DRY. THEN I TAPED OFF ALL THE SMOOTH PLASTIC WITH MASKINGTAPE. I APPLIED 2 COATS AND IT DRIED ALMOST RIGHT AWAY. ALL IN ALL IT TOOK ABOUT 2 HRS AND COST 7 BUCKS. It Says It Is For Touch Ups??????(i Would Never Use It For That. I Wanted To Go With A Contrasting Color Like Silver Or Yellow But This One Said Mazda On The Cap And Seemed To Match The Car Exactly. It Looks Lighter In The Picture Because Of The Sun But When Held Next ToTHE CAR They Are 100% Matched. Here Are Some Pic Of The Can... LoOk For It And Let Me Know How It Worked Out...

Stuck in a love triangle
Thosedark rims are perfect on your nordic green. Your Rx8 looks bad *** -- like a vicious reptile or something-- in that second pic you took. Nicework man.

I Have Never Seen A Mazdaspeed Spoiler In Person. I Was Afraid It Might Look Cheap... Like One Of Those Spice Rack Aluminum Wings You See On Those Crap Hondas. Anyone Have A Good Pic. Does It Install On The Same Place On The Trunk Where The Factory Wing Installs?

it drives great but the front is very low. so low that i am looking into some other options. i need it to come up about .5" in the front. anyone know of a way to do that without buying all new springs?

Nice 8. NG is my favorite color for the 8 and the rims set off the color even more. If it was my car I would consider doing the breaks next. Even if you go the cheap way and just paint the calipers and get Powerslot rotors it will make a huge difference behind the thin dark spokes.
