I agree that it looks like silver but silver is not available with the red accented interior in Canada. My guess is that the car is actually titanium and the lighting makes it appear silver.

I don't know why people have such a hard time discerning the different colours. Thats silver, and that show car has been all over the place. Just because that colour combination isn't available in canada doesn't mean it would prohibit them from showing it there.

This is another one of those pre-production RX-8 so whether the interior colour and the exterior colour match up has nothing to do with what colour-trim they are offering in Canada.

If you look at photos from the magazine reviews, you can see their review model have Sunlight Silver/Red-Interior as well.

I pretty sure this is a Sunlight Silver in the picture.

That could be dark brown / tan leather with funny lighting? I don't know.

I agree though it sure looks like silver to me.

Looks silver to me.

In discerning between the two colors: I've always compared the body color to that of the wheels. Silver is the same as, if not slightly lighter than, the wheels; titanium is slightly darker...

Definitely silver.

I think this color shows the lines of the car better than any other. If my last 4 cars weren't silver, I would have ordered it.

I was at the Calgary show - the car was silver with the red accent leather interior, a colour combination not available in Canada. I was told by Mazda's regional representative that the show RX-8 was US spec, and that the combination would not be available here, matching previous info about colours. No mystery!

Gordon

Does it look to you guys like the ***-end of that car is all hiked up?

Looks like somebody put a set of air shocks on it or something.

BTW.....I agree that it is silver, not titanium

Yeah, I noticed that too, but I think it's just all the light shining at it from the side and lighting up the wheel well.

Easy way to tell Titanium and Silver apart is to see if the paint is darker than the wheels. If so it's Titanium.

This same car was at the Edmonton show. It is definitely silver and all dealerships in Edmonton are constantly talking about the "silver auto show RX-8".
