finally got my volks in a week or 2 ago and finally got to see them and get some pics tonight. I know there will be mixed opinions on them... I personally wasn't sure but now that I've seen them in person, I love the way they look. Can't get tires quite yet, but soon I hope. Till then, I can just look at them off the car...

Was hard getting the color to come out right in the pictures... the bottom 2 look the closest to the red and the 2nd picture looks closer to the silver I think. Let me know what you think... I know some probably wont like it. It's for a brilliant black by the way...

yeah... that's what I was worried about at first... but I'm thinking when it gets paired with the black it will work well.

Forgot to mention that they're volk GTFs in MDC/red...

 

What color is your 8? I would've gone much wider with Volks.

 

black. much wider? I didn't want to be running 10s really. I considered going for 9s in the front as well, but decided not to. I guess it wasn't a whole lot more money, but I just decided not to. So what did you mean by much wider? there isn't "much" more to go in the rear... though I guess 1-2 inches in rim width can be a lot.

 

wow i love those rims!!.... wanna trade? i am not sure what kind of wider he means (wider lip or wider rims), but you definitely still have room for wider rims though like 18 x 8.5 in the front and 18 x 9.5 in the rear. anyways for wider lips i believe you still have plenty of more room to go wider in the front and the rear though, since the front is 18 x 8 you can actually go + 25 and for the rear is 18 x 9 you can go maybe + 23 or something. i am pretty sure the front will be ok, but you might need to roll the back fender though.

Nice choice in wheels. Don't know about the color though.

 

Youre 8 will have to be pretty agressive looks wise to pull them off sucessfully. But i cant get mad with any one who buys rays

hmmm....ill withhold judgement until you get pics with them on the car...if it were me spending the money on volks, those wouldnt be my first choice, but at least your being unique. Im anxious to see them on a car.

It's gonna look really good.............or really bad, I don't think there is going to be any in-between. Then again......that's just me, let's see when you get them on the car.

Actually glad I'm not the only one who doesn't get why he posted that.

I think they are pretty intense, but I'm stoked to see them on. Should look aggressive and definitely different.
