North East Exotic Car Show 08
Well another Aug. and yet another Annual North East Exotic Car Show at the Budwieser Plant in NH.
With the threat of rain ever looming over our heads a decent amount of cars both sport and definatly exotic gathered 'round on the park grounds to support "Make-A-Wish Foundation". Although I sent out a decent amount of PM's and even put a thread up in our NE regional boards we only had 3 (including myself) 8's show up But we represented pretty well I'd like to say. Marcux, Midlifer and myself parked the cars along side other Mazda's and just waited for the rain to come to down us all.
The rain came and everyone scattered and ran away like their cars would surely melt if they didnt bring their baby's back home to their heated/cooled garages right away. Us Mazda owners just laughed and shook our heads with contentment to wait it out. Sadly the organizers had other idea's and announced they where doing the throphies so they to could get out of there.
First Place for the Mazda Catagory was a Nicely done up by Synaptic 3 Enginering Rx-7. Second place was a Miata. No 8's got a trophy this year
So onto the pictures.
Marcux's 8.
Now I must state this, he just got the car 7 months ago and the previous owner butched the hell out of this car. He has ALOT of work ahead of him to fix this guys mistakes. Like full frontal CF bumber and fenders that don't fit straight for starters. I give this guy major credit for wanting to stick with it. Oh and he has done a TON of modification and custom work on the interior which I'm highly jealous of. Should of snagged a photo of it now that I think of it.. anyways.. onward.
My baby sitting in the shade.
A 3 forums MS3 very nice guy forget his name though

Thanks Alucard.. and I have no friggin' clue. I knew the 7 would win first.. it was awsome. As they went to announce second place a friend of mine patted me on the back as in "ya got this in the bag." then both of us where shocked when we heard ".. miata..". It was for charity so I am not upset.. confused yes.. upset no lol. We all joked afterward though and said it might of been the Teddybear that did us all in.

Yes your reading the car correctly. Sadly it was always crowded so I couldnt get a full shot. Plus the doors and hood where all the way up.. I hate when people do that.

clav, I'm glad you made it back with the way the car was sounding...
I'll add a few pics too...
It was hard to get a clear pic of the SLR because there was a crowd constantly around it...
