Ode to the tree!!!
As many of you know, I wrecked my 8 on March 2 by driving up over a curb and through a tree. I just got it back on Friday and although the project is not 100% complete just yet, I thought I'd take some pics and show everyone how it's looking now!!!!
She has the MS replica front & sides, new chrome rims, new tires Greddy exhaust w/B&B midpipe, clear corners.... and some other stuff that I can't think of. Still waiting on the CF hood so I'll post again when that's installed. Enjoy!!

No, not yet. Waiting on the Seibon KS CF Hood to come in and also need a few things under the hood replaced (intake & AC condensor line). I'm also going to get the MS spoiler and probably ask my body shop guy to add a lip to my rear aero flares, paint them the same color as the rest of the trim, and also paint the current under spoiler the same color as the trim instead of getting the rear part of the kit. I don't think the difference is really worth the money and he does GREAT work (as you can see). Always a work in progress...... :D

No, it's not lowered. I'm unsure whether or not to do that given I've already hit the ground a couple time with the front. I haven't quite adjusted to the clearance yet and I don't know how much lowering it will effect that.

Let me see if I can answer everyone's questions......
Damage to begin with: bad and not pretty. Basically the entire front (bumper & appearance pkg), 2 rims out of round, 2 roughed up bad, 2 flat tires, missing exhaust , the hood, and some other things under the hood/behind the bumper. I'm sure of the exact total but I think insurance paid roughtly $6000. There are pics in the "So about that tree I killed" thread in the Gulf section.
I'm going to still play with the idea of lowering. I've been so concerned with just getting the car back that springs aren't really at the forefront of thoughts. I'll keep ya'll updated. :D
Rims: Chrome 18" ADR Levison. I bought them off ebay and I think they're on there again Got a FANTASTIC deal on them especially since stock rims are $510 each! I thought they would be too bling blingy too, but I looked at tons of pics and I just didn't like gun metal with red and I didn't want powdercoat again, so I took a chance and it worked out in my favor!
Thank you everyone for the great compliments!!! D

It totally rocks! I love it and would recommend it to anyone thinking about doing it. Never too loud, can hear and talk inside the car, little loud at idle and coast, roars when you gun it. I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! And I can shoot flames! Did I mention that I loved it? :D

the exhaust with the mid pipe is loud!!! she got my old midpipe and i had a silencer welded in to quiet it down some.
Car looks awesome Dazy! it was fun seeing it sit there in the body shop collecting dust! reminded me of mine when it was there for 2 months!
as for martin(body shop owner) he is an awesome guy too! that replica setup was crap with all the little pinholes and crap even after a good sanding. but he got it to work and even added the little grey at the bottom to really make it look real! he fixed my 8 and when i took it to the dealership even their body guy couldn't tell it had been repainted on the passenger side!

I think that's going to be fixed, along with some other things, when the hood comes in. I'd gone so long without the car and I was already late for the road trip, I really didn't care about the small stuff at the time, I just wanted it back.
