I dunno, I think each color should be represented, there are tons of cars not being represented here. And while I am sort of glad my car is being represented in stock form, I think professional photos should be in it. I would love one with the knightsport car, autoexe, etc.

I guess my idea was denied for including other shots of our cars. Interior, engine bay, and other fine details that make the RX-8 unique. I posted those pics in the other thread. Would be nice to see more than just exterior photos. You could even combine the design for each month.

some great pics, but artistically speaking, the first 11 are all almost the same..in terms of angles etc.... i,e all front cars 3/4s...
Hows about a nice selection of difertn stuff?, i.e some detail shots, and different angles etc....
But I will say:
3, 6, 8, 13, 17, 20, 21
And then some other stuff, eg joels engine bay, and some nice different shots....

I thought this was suppose to be fun. But its slowly becoming a chore. I can see why no one else ever offered to do this.
I asked for people to post pics in the pic thread. There were many entries. Alot of them already had water marks on them and a few would not fit the calendar layout properly (dimension wise).
Since I'm doing this on my own, and no one has bothered to ask me if I need help, I took the majority of the pics posted in the other thread, and transferred them here to this new thread.
Now that I've got a convenient location for everyone to see, there's still people who are complaining about this pic and that pic.
On top of that, other people are complaining the layout of the calendar is not to their liking.
No one has seen the finished product and already they're complaining its not going to turn out alright.
To those people who have voted and suggested a few things, I thank you!!
To the other people who have removed pics already watermarked, and are suggesting unreasonable requests in the short time frame I have to do this before the Xmas holidays, if you don't like it, don't purchase it! Its as simple as that. If you think you can do a better job, then by all means, get it done! Its easy to complain when you're not the one attempting to bring something to a good car community such as the RX-8 people. But of course, there are always the people who think its never enough!
I guess RX-7 people have more faith in others than RX-8 people.
I appreciate everyone's input in this calendar. Fri. is the deadline. If I find a few more pics posted in this thread, and if enough people like it and vote for it, then I will do a final revision and complete the calendar.
I will post the final product, with the allowed pics, and away it goes.
Let the voting continue!

I'm not complaining, simply offering advice and suggestions since this is what I do for a living. Also note that any photos I have posted can be adjusted to fit the final specs. I hope the plan is to use at least 150dpi photos.

i'm sorry if anything i said was disrespectful (i don't think i did though...) but i definitely appreciate your effort Neo.
the only constructive criticism at this point is, and i know it's a function of timing, that we rushed the picture submission process. I was traveling for work last week, so i didn't have time to wash my car and take a few pics. Also, and i think it's related to this point, i think altspace is right that we need some "unique" pics...like showing the cool shift ****, or rotary emblem in the seats, or an extreme close-up of the new r3 wheels. but i certainly understand that, and other ideas, are taking it from "fun" to "chore".
i'd recommend you just continue as-is; it'll be nice to get the first calendar done...there is always next year to fill in any gaps overlooked or rushed with this one.
sincere thanks -

I've always loved Winning Blue.
By all means, as I stated in my last post, if you've got some more pics, and people vote for it, I'll include it in the final calendar.
I wouldn't mind adding a nice Yellow, white, or blue shots. It just works out not too many people posted with any of the other colours.
Keep it coming!

^ yeah i agree - nuke they're all nice, just post 2 or 3...really any one of those would get my vote, so long as your car gets in.
altspace...can you (maybe you have already) post that interior pic that's in the bottom right corner of the one you posted above? THAT would be a great interior shot for the calendar, at full size.
