I used either a 50mm 1.8 Canon (The Thrifty Fifty ($80?)), or a 70-300 IS.

I did image resizing and conversion of RAW to .jpg, etc. Film is where it's at if somebody wants to spend a LOT of f'ing money. Digital allows for VERY VERY VERY good images, AND I can take hundreds of photos without costing me anything if I don't like 'em
