I would love to the see the Mazdaspeed rims from the performance package on other different coloured rx8s. Also if anyone has an 8 with the appearance package along with the mazdaspeed rims post pics aswell? stormy blue mica if possible. I would love to see what the stormy blue rx8 with the performance package rims look like with the appearance package.

I don't have a stormy blue mica one, but I have a white one with the perf package and the ms wheels.

I was never a fan of these rims, on any color of the 8. By chance did the dealer give you the stock 18's as well? if they did I would switch em over and use these ones on your car for the winter, if you drive her in the winter.

 

I like them, they somewhat remind me of my winter rims. But mine are smaller.

 

i'd paint them another color. maybe bronze (i have a vr) but i think the design is pretty decent.

silver rims = passé.

No, i created a whole thread in the Canada forum regarding wheather or not the dealer was suppose to return all stock items along with the perofrmance package items. I never got anything stock back, so no rims. Im going in Monday to have a little talk. I would love to get the stock rims, put them on during the winter, and have the mazdaspeed rims on during the summer.

 

Im in Ontario, and my dealer was giving the stock rims along with these.

But you should consider powder coating them BRONZE! or even a darker Gold. That would look hot on your Stormy blue!

Think it would look better chrome, versus the dull silver look.. just my .02. not saying it looks bad, just what would look better.

 

i think the silver goes good with the blue. the appearance package should enhance it even more. i say go for it

 

I can't see chrome looking good on an 8. I like the color and the rims as they are, a deep bronze wouldn't be too bad either.
