First post...these look like Motegi MR7's. The wheels look good in another color, white powdercoat for example. Old style, if you call it style.

 

I prefer the Mazdaspeed MS-01S wheels with Stormy Ble

I just sold my mazdaspeed rims to a guy with a stock black 8. They look pretty good on his car.

Here they are from when I had them on my car.



BTW, I was looking on the inside of the MS rims and they show 18" x 7" (or maybe it was 7.5"). I thought the mazdaspeed were 18" x 8".

 

They are Mazdaspeed 6 wheels 18 x 7.5
They are quite the boat anchors....about 26 lbs... if I recall
Probably why they were giving them away...
Stock wheels are 21 lbs and the MS-01S are 17 lbs

get some volk gt-vs on this and get the rmc color and it would look amazing with the deep blue you have.

I dont know why people are badmouthing them, I think they look great IMO. Or at least good enough to have for a while.

Those rims definetly look hot. But im on a small budget now after I got the car, and even if I am looking to get the appearance pacakge aswell, How much do those rims go for?

 

i love those wheels, i will get them one day, i had the money before but i didnt have the patience, they take 3 months to come. The ones shown are black i think and they are 505 a wheel. Or the RMC finish is around 600+ a wheel. Really nice wheels tho. The RMC would look great on your car, especially at night.

Always try and check the vendor buys for endless roataries on herem he has some real good deals on wheels a lot of the time and is a real cool guy, thats who i got my wheels off for a good price

Not badmouthing....my priority is performance first...then looks.
Everyone has different tastes...5 spoke....split 6 spoke ..etc.
As far as looks go for me....I'm a 5 spoke...hyper silver or hyper black guy,
Bronze on red.

I have RPF1's on the MX5 because of the lightness...but think they would be hot in bronze.

Those wheels are option wheels from Mazdaspeed Performance for the 6s, and they have sold maybe 10-sets over north america that's why Mazda put together this "performance package" for the new RX8 owners...

Don't know where you bought ur car from since you are at Ottawa, I'm gonna guess you got it from Bank St. Mazda... you should get ur factory wheels back because the memo from Mazda Canada to all Mazda dealers stated that "this is an EXTRA pkg that will be included in the new RX8s and there will be NO cost to dealers except for the installation labour which will be a dealer-participation cost"

 

Because they look cheap and a little ugly too.

 

Yeah!..you should get the OEM's back.
I traded my OEM's and the Performace Package wheels back to my dealer
for the MS01's.

 

Spigot, those rims look awesome on Stormy Blue. Did they allow you to trade straight-up for those MS rims?
