hi, I'm new to the forum and I'm a less than a week away from buying a nice red 2007 RX8 (Can't wait!).

I see A LOT of great shots taken here, but I'd like to open a new picture thread based on the details.

for example:

a picture of your key, the gas lid, the back seats, power seat buttons, moonroof, radio, gauges, etc. whatever you want that gets overlooked usually.

 

Not much gets overlooked, especially if you've browsed through the velocity reds thread. Altspace has some great shots of "details"

I like the red caps (washer, brake fluid) . That strut bar is kinda weird. Gold is not my colour but whatever. Pics are stellar like always. I'll get some pics up by next weekend, got a new Tamron tele-macro.

I actually got the idea for the gold heat film from the Grand-AM RX-8s and I attend many auto shows so the "bling" factor really helps. People are drawn to it and love it. It's also very functional, keeping the AC line, intake, ECM, etc. nice and cool.

The strut bar is Beatrush. JDM all the way! The two red caps are painted with OEM VR paint.

Here's a detail shoot for ya. I bet nobody has really seen the texture of the interior this close before. This is a 100% crop section of the vent photo pictured above. Notice all the lines?
