Photographic proof a new 2008 RX-8 isn't as good as my 2004

Brand new 2008 with 7 miles on the odo. It just didn't handle as well...

I kid of course, but this really was wrecked on the test drive and the car really only had 7 miles on it.

The front bumper doesn't protrude out as some of the earlier photos seemed to indicate.

I was joking in my first post. Someone else wrecked it on the test drive. The car only has 7 miles on it, so they must not have gotten far...

that was my reaction, but then I saw stuff crushed into the engine, right on the alternator pulley, and I decided I would be better off without it

Im with Jeff...the core should be good. A stupid airbox shouldn't damage the pulley or shaft. Heck...wasn't someone in the Parts thread looking for cores. You could probably make a killing on that thing.

the nose/ hood look way too flat. the bulginess of our 8 is part of it's coolness. guess the engineers at mazda didn't think so..

How stupid do you have to be to try to max out a vehicle you've never sat in before on your first test drive? Bet they didn't adjust the mirrors first either
