Oh wow I like that. I wonder how its gonna look with my silver 8. What do you think? Should I get the burnout kit? I want to keep the carbon fiber kit as it is on my 8.Any inputs will be appreciated.

i say go for it. i never liked front bumpers since none of them fit perfectly, unless you modify the **** outta them. underbody kits are, IMO, the better choice. and especially this kit, you don't have to spend money on getting it painted since it's CF.

sorry..but i think it's going to look like ***...IMO...graphite CF on SILVER? nah...you should see if someone could do a kit with silver Kevlar/CF...that would be awesome..i think the black silver look kinda reminiscent of primered body kits on painted civics...

If you get it online, you can order the kit unpainted non-CF. It's a little cheaper than the CF kit anyways. It's up to you.

Memory Fab is the only place I've seen with this kit. Maybe japanparts.com.

Here's the link to the Unpainted non-CF:

yyyahh.!...in small quantities...we're talking an entire kit...be it the burnout kit really isn't a lot of replacement parts BUT...the car will have a 2 tone appearance...speaking strickly from a person who's been in the car scene for a while...i wouldn't get it...i think the contrast between black and silver will make the car look like something is unfinished...it's only my opinion though...it's her car...she can do what she wishes...i have a silver car...and i'm wanting to get the MS rear with the part that's painted Gunmetal metallic done in grey/silver kevlar/CF....NOT BLACK...it will look to goofy...now on a black car...it would look fine...white and silver cars with black body parts to me always look unfinished...

I was thinking about the MS Kit but I know there will be some major rubbing on the front bumper and dont want to throw away 1290 just for the front bumper. I already have rubbing on the front bumper now that I dont have the kit let alone with the kit. So get MS kit? What other alternative body kits would you guys recommend?

i have been in the car scene for a while as well (what does that have to do with anything?)...and there is nothing wrong w/ a car being two tone. carbon fiber will always get a thumbs up if used tastefully. i think it'll look very nice since her wheels are already dark. even her interior is black, so a carbon fiber underspoiler kit wouldn't hurt at all. it'll actually accent the car better. black on black on black is appealing to others, but i think its just to dark. can't see the lines of the car, BORING. add some "flava" to your ride, it'll be different (and more stylish) compared to EVERYONE's MS kit. infact, i think the MS kit is slowly getting played out. just like the TRD widebody for the MR2, the bomex kit for the supra, etc. etc.

Go ahead and get the kit in carbon fiber like you originally intended to. As long as you like it thats all that matters. I think it should look good though...

what it has to do with is....i've seen reactions by judges and the sort...i've built cars from ground up, modded fresh off the factory floor, whatever...i know what looks off and what tends to blend nicely...i've worked in automotive paint and body fabrication and owned my own tuning shop...won 1st , 2nd and 3rd places in many different categories in all kinds of different shows, including NOPI Nationals..so that's what it HAS TO DO WITH...you want my resume?

I didn't say the WHOLE MS kit..cause it is already too played out..not almost..IS...i'm just getting the REAR..cause it's the only *** that looks half decent to me...your right about black..i just gave a reference to what "I" think black/graphite CF looks good on..hell it even looks ok on BLUE...but i think it looks UNFINISHED on silver...slllygrl by no means am i putting your decision down...i'm just offering you an opinion...that's all...it is your call...
