photoshop of wedsSPORT TC005
hey guys, im looking into buying these for my ti-grey 8, & was wondering how they look. ive seen the stock picture thing at tirerack, but tirerack makes the titanium grey color look like ***, so i thought you pros out there might be kind enough to help me out. my only concern is the wheel appears to be a darker grey finish than the car, & there is no machined lip or anything that breaks the color up....
anyway, heres a pic of the wheel:
thanks in advance.

Get the SA-70s or SA-90s if you want some break in the color, I think they would look great on an RX-8. I almost bought them for my car... The TC005s will look nice as well, but are a little too matchy matchy for my taste.

benny: thats a good pic, & a good idea. i might try to find a friend to do this for me, or even attempt it myself if no one here will do it...
lazi: poker only if you are pretty confident you won't LOSE money!
Ike: those just showed up @ tirerack, & i was thinkin about them as well. you wouldnt happen to know the weight of the SA's would you? tirerack doesn't have it listed.

Hey! I just posted a remark about the SA70s! Check out the Mazdaspeed and the Tokyo Auto Salon thread and there's a pic of the SA70s on the JIC RX-8. https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-discussion-3/mazdaspeed-rx-8-2006-tokyo-auto-salon-80672/page3/

yeah, the sa90's look like it. anyway, im on a student budget so if im gonna do this ive gotta do it right. i think the sa70s probably look a little better, but i like the lighter weight of the tc005. man, im stuck between a rock & a hardspot. i really need to photoshop these suckers & see what happens. im gonna try to do that tomorrow with my friend, then i will post results! thanks for the info ike.
by the way, do the bronze or grey sa70s fit the 8 better? the bronze is a little odd, but its unique & still kinda cool...AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Hey Zaglo, could you get your friend to photoshop the SA-90's on my car while you're at it? Pretty please?? I'm dying to get a better representation of what it'd look like on my car. Here's a few pix of my car.... https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...11#post1200111 I'm a programmer, but can't photoshop worth ****.
Anyway, the guy who's selling me the rims is going to do a staggered approach. Not sure by how much, but he said I can fit my stock summer tires on them. Too many 8s have the 5 or 6 spoke Hiros or TE37 design. Time to try these babies!

Get the SA-70s, very sexy! Also, let me know and I'll show you where you can get em cheaper than Tire Rack, just need to know what size and offset you're looking for.

hey guys, my friend has been sick, & if you've been checkin out the general automotive section, then you know that i got a lovely ticket, which will be cutting a large hole in my budget & i might not even be driving for a little while!!! i'll try to see if i can get my friend to do some work on it & a few others that i am interested in in the meantime, though...hopefully he will be back in action tomorrow.
by the way, if you have any rims that you are interested in having my friend photoshop, then just send me a link/direct pic. & size info, watever...i'll see what i can do.
ike: i would probably be lookin at 18*8.5, but im not sure about the offset.
