i dont think they were picking on you but it was more the fitment....they look odd since they arent flush mounted....for instance here are mine.....they are red carbon kevlar and look almost oem.....



personally i like yours too.....they are different and i can appreciate that

 

What brand are yours chrism? Did you paint the mesh part?

 

They look like mine. I would bet they are from the hookupshop. Not positive, but thats my guess.

btw, knightsport vents are not flush mounted either

 

I've seen many flush mounted vents before, like the Auto-bahn and the gemini's. I wanted something different and personally like the wider look.


Scsi - Yes the Knightsport vents are similar to ours. Ours is Chargespeed. Here are some comparison pics.

I like man. I like them a lot. I've never seen those before. They seperate you in the fender vent department from the rest.

Thanks guys. These vents are not for everybody. Making your RX8 look good has always been a "beauty in the eye of the beholder" mentality. It depends on the point of view of different people. I'm glad that I can receive so many varied responses to the vents and it makes life just alittle more interesting.

I've got a spare set of these for sale. Maybe someone might want one?
