The CF hood is from Genesis from NY. The induction doenst really pick up too much water for some reason. I mean I haven't checked the filter lately, but it doesnt run differently in the rain. And, civics are a dime a dozen :-P

I agree 100%. I wonder what it would have looked like if the intake were actually rotor shaped instead of round with a rotor outline. Maybe even witn the "bolted" look like the seat headrests to blend in with the overall theme of the car.

I heard somewhere ram air induction is a load of BS marketing jargon. Is there any truth to this?

I believe that...how are you going to get that much more air coming in through a hole in the top versus the hole you already have on the bottom...nothing

Sick...

Looks good. I agree that the fog lights need to be repositioned. The hood looks dynamite. Do you hear a whistle when driving at speed?

Nice job!!

Ram air when done properly can in fact give you more horsepower. You have to be going really fast though. Racing Beat found that on their nonturbo Bonneville 1st gen RX-7 that a good ram air system added 3 mph to the car's top speed. That may not sound like much but when you are moving at over 180 mph it takes alot more power to go each mph faster. Don't let this excite you a whole lot. For street use there is no benefit. You simply aren't going fast enough to have air rammed into the engine. If we had really small engines like some motorcycles then yes you might feel a difference but we don't. For street use it is just marketing. Take a look at aircraft enigne design sometime. Look up ram jets. They need to be moving pretty damn fast to work. That bumper intake opening is still functional. The intake air can have a straight unobstructed path to the airbox. Straighter is better.

Looks good. The only thing I always think is that cosmetic upgrades to cars like 8's, S2000's, 350Z's, etc...should be fully backed up by the performance to match. Otherwise it's false advertising, but that's the opinion of someone who typically doesn't like body kits.

I like the fogs too, they seem damn bright though. Can you post a pic w/ the xenons on?

Also, arent there brake ducts or some kind of open box right behind where your new fogs are?

and I like the intake just not the black rotary design. Flush against the bumper it looks like a sticker at any distance. I think it might look better inset or risen against the bumper so it looks more integrated. Nice mod regardless
