I think I saw these on eBay. The quality looks good. However, I do not believe they are a replacement for the front grill...merely a plate to go over it. Correct me if I'm wrong Shinka. It still looks great though.

Shinka, I assume that's the "black-race" style. I wish they had a pic of the "black-diamond" on their site, just for comparison.

Nice, and certainly relatively inexpensive.

Cheers

the grille is pre-cut....its a SILVER diamond cut....and attaches to the EXISTING grille with cable ties....all this info has been posted throught out the thread...
it comes in black diamond, black racing, silver diamond and silver racing....

Ah, Shinka213... correct me if I'm wrong but I think I can see the zip ties in the pics. Is there any other way to install this? Thanks!

there may be another way to do it.....not sure how you would though...the zip ties actually come with the grille and intructions to use....in person it is really difficult to see unless you look up close....Im satisfied at this point....but if someone comes up with another way...I would certainly try it....
thanks

just got mine, but how in the world do you mount it? I looked behind my factory piece and it is solid foam where I'm supposed to drill holes or whatever, looks like mine is going back as I'm pretty bummed at this point.

dont sweat it.....dont send it back.....I was a little confused at first too.....so what i did was drill the hole from one opening (honecomb) to the other so that you dont have to come in from the back....its literally impossible to do that....there is really no access....so now you will slip the tie in from the front, in one honeycomb and out the other....if you need further assistance just PM me....

ah, I gotcha', That makes a lot more sense, I'll take another look at it tomorrow, it was 90something degrees outside and about 1000% humididty when I got home from work and started fiddling with it, I think the heat shrunk my patience down to nothing, which probably blocked any chance of me thinking clearly as well :D

Well I made the mistake of trying a second attempt after having one of the shittiest days I've had in a while, no luck in my second attempt and now my factory grille looks a little dinged up from the effort, anyone know if that piece (the factory piece) is seperate or integrated? I'll probably go get another factory piece to replace the one I screwed up and then be done with it, now I know why it was so inexpensive (sorta anyway). ugh so bummed, i hope my stereo install Thursday goes better than my week has gone otherwise I might as well sell my car and drive a frickin' moped for a while.

Hey Canary...
sorry to hear of your problem with the grille....if you can get it on you will cover the stock grille.....you might not have to go out a buy a new stock grille...
I'd be willing to help out as much as I can....perhaps you can PM your cell
Pat

It's cool, I appreciate the offer. I picked a really bad week to try and do something like that instead of waiting for a better time when I could have even taken the time to remove the stock piece and do it all up correctly. I probably should have gone with the mesh style instead of the race as well as once I sorta' had it on, it looked out of place anyway. No problemo, just have to be smarter about things next time (and luckily it wasn't a very expensive piece )
