https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...ht=fd+fe+fc+fb

Those are just a couple threads to look through

Every RX7 generation had a two letter code in the VIN as follows:

1st gen 1979-1985=FB
2nd gen 1986-1992=FC
3rd gen 1993-2002(1995 in the US)=FD

As you'll see in the above thread some call the RX8 an FE. All RX8 VINS do have a FE in them, so thats where people get the FE. Many say it's not a FE because its not a continuation of the RX7 line. So thats that in a nutshell.

Now lets please not start another debate about this

PS- when you see an RX7 owner wave at them, it will give them a heart attack

Wow, I never noticed the huge difference in height between the FD and the RX-8. Nice Pics.

Actually that is part of a Sportsman Team Challenge field with a skeet field being built on the side. I (my family) own the range. As for how I shoot, I wouldn't know I rarely shoot.

JRichter: The only thing similar on these two cars is that they have rotary engine IMO

Thanks again for the compliments on the cars everyone. I'd love to take them to a scenic location but I have 1 problem with that. I only trust myself to drive them
