Pinstripes
Well, I've had my SS 8 for three months and four thousand miles now.
And every gahdamn time I look around there's another silver something-or-other.
So I decided to add something extra to the unbroken expanse of silver that is the side of the thing.
Here's what I got.
Well, crap! I changed my webhost, and apparently the photos didn't make the trip. I'll check it out.

And finally, around the rear badge, just a little "interest" the painter called it.

Cool. I feel your pain with the silver/grey masses. I like th red/black pinstripe, not such a fan of the seperate black detailing below, seems like conflicting styles, but to each their own. I'd love a yellow car/orange car, but I can barely afford the grey one that I have (edit, I actually can NOT afford the grey one that i have)

I'll give you this, you've got a steady hand. Your pinstriping skills are good. However, IMO it looks like something a used car dealer would put on a car and call them "Go Faster Stripes."
This type of pinstriping may look good on choppers, hotrods, and lowriders. But on imports? Imagine a Shiny new Acura NSX...with 10" Tripple GOLD, 100 spoke, Daytons with white wall tires....![Dubs](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/dubs.gif)
2 cents.

Yeah, I hear what y'all have to say about the black box down low. I'm really of two minds about it -and they are both underwhelmed.
Although it doesn't show up well in the pics, the high stripes are black and red, reflecting the interior colors of the car.
I left it up to the painter to use his judgment, and he thought the low treatment was needed because there was still a lot of blank canvas below the stripes. I can live with it, but if I had it to do over again . . .
My apologies for the large size of the pics. I don't have this place completely tamed yet.
