Somehow I only just noticed this thread now, but I feel obligated to win/lose it now:
Yes, he's PARKED THERE. What you can't see is there's a car parked to my right as well, that blue WRX is my co-worker's, and there're cars all along the right out of shot. I had to pull a 4 point turn to get out and if my co-worker had wanted to leave before me, he couldn't have.

I'm actually afraid of stuff like this. You think putting it away from everyone else keeps it less potential for harm but some go out of there way even more purposely to damage it. Like parking in a lot at a theater for a matinee where no one else parks, you walk out no one else still parked there yet it gets dinged up because it stands out and people are asshats.
It's almost better just to park alongside someone and hope for the best, least it doesn't stand out for the asshats to try something.
I worry about getting nice rims for the car and a paint job with the few times I go to event like a race or whatever and leaving it there in a lot hoping no one tries to gank the rims or scratch it up being haters and what not.

I got a ding from someone opening their door on my drivers door... And also a mark on my rear bumper what looks like someone tired to get as close to me as possible... And they sure did.

oh my god, I never thought I'd find another hide fan here... I'm only 20, so I was very young when he died and had no access at all to any Japanese music. D: X and hide are some of my biggest influences in what kind of music I want to play. I don't care if I never become famous, I just want to do it to have fun. :] Though I'll always wish that I at least had gotten to know their music earlier :\ I feel like I missed even more than I already did by just being too young.
And that's so awesome that you met Sugizo! O_O I wish I lived on the west coast sometimes, 'cause no one EVER comes out to the east. Pata and hide are my favorite members of X.

don't know wtf this guy was thinking?
went to a movie theater, parked on a side lot which was a cold long annoying walk pointless for anyone to park there since the main lot was empty and this minivan parks beside me LOL
the white car was the only car in that lot when i got there beforehand :P
on another note a real parking thing that makes me angry is people that leave their dogs in the car for more than an hour on extremely hot sunny days for more than 20 minutes
i went for dinner once and parked next to a poor dog with one window down less than a centimeter on a hot day... when i left a which was few hours later car was still there... the dog owner came back with his windshield wipers ripped off with a lovely note left on his windshield
