Project 8. Community Support!

Project 8. Community Support!
As some of you may well already know, I've been working on and honing a "professional-grade" RX-8 promotional advertisement for some time now. Filming has been on and off since June of 2010, but not until recently have I had the opportunity to fully commit to the project. Long story short, a friend in the film industry saw one of my previous versions of the trailer and recommended I construct a longer version for submission to the Evvy Awards. Linked below is the final iteration.
Community Support: Submission does not guarantee that my ad will be nominated for viewing, if the EvvySubmit channel sees that enough positive feedback is received, (comments, reactions on the link below) they may very well show the film at the festival (Representatives and film professionals from Hollywood WILL be present for the event, along with a 1,500 member audience) This is significant because if my film shows, its very likely that funding for a much larger scale Mazda project could come into play, one which will involve MEMBERS who desire to have their OWN cars in the next film. Whatever the result, my girlfriend and I had an awesome time doing the driving/filming for it, so no regrets. Check it out and I hope you enjoy it!
The link below is the link to the Evvy Awards page:
To provide feedback that would be visible to the judging committee, simply follow the link to the actual YouTube page and comment where you would normally.

love your editing style, one thing i didnt like is the fade transition at 1:01 i felt like the 2 shots are too similar so the transition is kind of pointless? maybe fix it with a insert or something
definately great overall, best of luck

Thanks for the support guys. It's always appreciated. To provide feedback that would be visible to the judging committee, simply follow the link to the actual YouTube page and comment where you would normally.
*About the transition at 1:01, nothing goes unnoticed after spending so much time editing, I left the fade in the final edit intentionally, simply as a result of the imposed constraints on that particular shot. (I wanted the car pulling up to the light in motion... car stops then light turns green, only problem was traffic pulled out in front and I had to edit that out, a simple cut would be too jarring and out of place considering the soundtrack) Very keen eye though to spot an inconsistency!

Red Line-Beep! Zoom Zoom
Dude, That's Indescribable.
But If it were to be described everyone seems to well agree that's EPIC
if you get chosen to do bigger stuff not only for mazda but any other company
you would make them hell of proud, all your videos are full of awesome

Unfortunately the final version has of course already been submitted, so I can't make any modifications to the film. Instead, my energy will very soon be dedicated towards making the next film, hopefully using more than just my car! Depends on how eager members are to get in on the action.

Haha thank you. Sort of difficult when the usual production/post production crew consists of one or two camera men, a dedicated sound specialist, lighting crew, driver, and talent...My team consisted of me, my girl friend, and occasionally a buddy who would tag along. Half the time I was hanging out of some sort of moving vehicle checking exposure, mic levels etc...and got stopped by the cops nearly every time we went out! All were extremely interested...no tickets
