Rear windows open?

Rear Window
Saw the rear window open at the Melbourne Motor Show. As suggested by your learned friend the rear window is just a rear end pop out. In the attached photos the window is open about half way. Not a great shot but the shadow is some indication.
I have some other photos but not sure how to attach more than one at a time.
