You're not manly enough to deal with pink tow hooks? Little sanding and rustoleum will make them red again.

Philip, great catch on those feeBay hooks. I've been using stock hooks with climbing caribiners hooked to them to get the 2" minimum diameter the tracks like to see. I tie-wrap the 'biners to the hooks so they don't clank around on-track. I wanted the MS hooks, but they are just too expensive. I don't need them for bling, I just need them for the (hopefully never going to happen) oh-**** moments!

Nice looking but steel aluminum? Is that new? The factory steel hooks that come with the car work perfectly. They just don't look as cool!

The ebay page has 3 colors right now, blue, red and yellow but the only ones that say RX8 are the blue ones.

Question for the OP. You bought red, did the listing say rx8 or did it say m3 and m5? It says they fit all vehicles but I know not all vehicles use the same size tow hooks.

And they also don't have a 2" inner diameter. Tracks use big hooks to pull cars, and if their hook won't go through the car's tow hook, they hook it on to other things like suspension bits. That's why I use the climbing caribiners on the stock steel tow hooks.

At least if it actually is as pictured, I'd be worried about the swinging hook banging on the front bumper and/or grill constantly.

Hi, is that a reasonably easy fit on our rx8? Or any modification that has to be done for it to fit?

Most affordable and function one is the MS one, but those are rare these days.
Or you can go to japanparts.com.
Some ebay ones will fit, but those are not functional, just decorations.

Your car doesn't need more rice. Stick with the tow hook covers covering the holes.

Bro, he is putting an LS2 in it, he is going to need a good one to strap it down on the dyno.
