How much lower does the kit sit? I would think a 1/2 inch lower would take up some of the gap. The 19's should do it though. Good luck with the project. Keep us updated.

How much did it cost to get the front bumper fitted and painted? I would like to get mine fitted correctly and then repainted, but I am curious to see how much it is probaby going to cost. Thanks.

I was just at the store looking at that same model about 45 minutes ago. I see you lose the display settings, but do the steering wheel controls work with it at all?

Thanks!

This is Corksport, they make all kinds of parts for Mazda's. They made the dash kit my head unit is sitting in.

The ipod is plugged into the ipod adapter that came with my pioneer avic d3x package.

I bought the pioneer steering wheel controls... Not the one that corksport sells. And yes it works.

What display settings are you speaking of?

I am bad at describing, so here is where I mean. You don't need it w/ the new screen, but I was just wondering about the steering wheel controls. Do the pioneer controls wire into the stock controls, because your steering wheel controls look stock to me. Of course, I am an idiot when it comes to stereo installation so this may be a simple question.

Noooooooooooooo!!!! Have you not learned anything from this thread!!!!! Its a slippery slop my friend.... 2 weeks ago this was just suppose to be a front bumper install..... Thats it!!!

Then you start saying things like.... "the bumper would look better with some skirts"... "and some carbon fiber accents would look great"... "A nice sound system would be great too".... And before you know it.... you spent $468764.89

LOL i only kid... I did plan on doing all this to my car eventually... Just got caught up in it... and i spent it way sooner then i planned... But I LOVE IT....

Good luck with yours!

Hey just wanted to let everyone know a deal. I wanted to get the pioneer but I went to Best Buy to look at it and they have it on clearance for 699 and the guy said it might go down a little more. They only had 2 left at the best buy near my apt.
