RX-8 and 350Z in FL.....
Well my girl just parted with her Audi TT and picked up an 04 350Z GT. HAving driven both now numerous amounts of times I must admit I like the performance and handling of the Z better. Maybe its because I spent 3 yrs. in an s2k before the rx-8, but the rx-8 feels softer (shifter, suspension) than the nissan or honda. The Z shifter has that machine metal on metal throw feel very reminicent of the s2k. Of course the interior of the the 8 is nicer and has more room, but we are twenty-somethings with NO KIDS so interior space is non very important. What is inportant is performance and style....and these cars deliver plenty of both!
We love both cars and feel very lucky to own two of the most exciting sports cars to drive that are currently on the market... Enjoy th pics and have safe holiday!.....

The 8 is softer than those two cars, because it's meant to be more of a daily driver than they are
I'm 22 with no kids, but I do have friends that like to go places, and its easier to take one car than to each drive (particularly if drinking is involved-though I wouldn't take this car in that case) The extra two seats are just nice to have. I really liked driving the Z when I had it, but there were a lot of turnoffs, such as poor rear visibility and the tire feathering issue (that kinda scared me) If you don't know what I mean check www.nissantireproblems.com
not trying to be the bringer of bad news, but it's nice to know of potential problems before they occur

Solid choice! Style wise I think the 8 is a little better, performance I'll give it to the Zed. I like white on the Z but it's definately a girl's color imo. I have a friend that has one and another with a G35 and love their cars. Even before I first drove the 8 I felt more connected to the road.

Nice!! :D I like the Z's, however the 8 just looks better to me. I also love the rareness (is this a word?) of the 8. I see 30 Z's for every 1 RX8. Good odds, plus I still love it when people come up to me and ask.....what is that?
Happy Holidays.

I love her Z (Nissan) with it's low, sleek and wide body. I even like the rear lip spoiler. White shows the body lines and shape well too. Very, very nice!
Your 8 is great too. ...As is mine >:-D
