I was wondering if anyone had noticed that the video was actually two clips that were filmed at different times.
The first part is where the first Borla sound clip came from and the second was my attempt to see what all of the commotion was about (a guy behind me at a Miata meet said that he saw flames and I just had to see what he was talking about). So I setup the video camera again and the rest is history.

Tribal azn2,

Warm up engine
Get the exhaust red hot by running the car over 6k RPMs for several minutes
Come to a stop or at least keep it under 60 MPH (slower = bigger flames)
Rev it hard (WOT) and lift off on the throttle quickly
INSTANT FLAMES!!!
As you can see, it is not easy to get flames because the conditions have to be perfect to ignite the unburnt fuel. Likewise I have not seen any damage to the paint or body work on the car but your mileage may vary. :p
If the pig rich fuel maps are corrected the flames will probably go away for good.

The BB exhaustsounds too ricey in those videos like a Honda lawnmower muffler sound I dontlike it at all guys. The Borla has more of a growl butyou dont get to hear it drivingthrough the street so it may sound just as bad I hope not. The flames are great

someone mentioned the ricey sound of the aftermarket exhausts.
To me none of the ones I heard samples of sounded good!
I have a geddy catback on my Probe GT and that sounds great. I will not be doing an exhaust on the 8 after hearing the samples. Looks like Canzoomers ECU is all that I will do for some time (I ordered it and don't even have my replacement 8 yet from th ebuyback- (maybe I'll do stage 2 at some point- CZ said the sound should be about the same as stock)

Wheel info
wannarace8,
In the second part of the video you can see my winter wheels. They are 17" Kazera KZ-V and you can find them for $129 at Tire Rack.
In my opinion I think you would be hard pressed to find a better looking rim for less money.
