RX-8 with Switchblade Doors

wow, where do you park it? I guess most of us are far car parkers anyway, but this thing would have to be parked millions of miles away to have any chance of getting out of it, sure would suck to drive this around the holiday season where even the far away spots are taken due to Xmas shopping :D oh and what about parking garages? doh!!

Stuck in a love triangle
I thinkas long as youre in good shape and under 6feet tall you could manage toget in and out of it. Bythe way those rims are delicious looking especially w/the fender strakes

I think that the doors look sick. And Delorean style doors are not practical because you can’t open them next to another car, like in a parking lot. So they are not really practical

That's the hottest 8 I've ever seen. I rarely think heavily modified cars look good, because they get the "Ricer" look which just isn't my style. But this... wow, it's hot, slick and classy looking. It really looks like an exotic.

In response to how do you open....
Most vertical door assemblys open horizontal for an inch or two before going verticle, the same with closing. Therefore, the rear doors open just as they do with standard horizontal opening doors.

Rotary Powered Decepticon
I think this was some Swedish or Swiss dude's car ... I think he posted back in August or Sept about his doors. From what I remember, he said that the rear door open as normal and that it took 2 months to install (?).

Ok I did find the link. He's a dude from Switzerland. I guess I lied about it taking 2 month to do (that was probably somebody else). His English isn't the greatest but he did put up what he's got on his car. Seems like a nice guy. Here's the link

Sorry for the repost, I searched for switchblade and lambo and didn't see anything, but then with a thread title of Hello from Switzerland I would never have even looked in there for it. Thanks for that link BlueFrenzy, was able to check out his website from it.
