Nice vids. What data display system are u using? Looks quite sophisticated. Question...you seem to be pumping on and off the throttle rather than smooth on and off. Is that because of the turbo? reason I notice is reminds me of how I drove w/my RX-8 in GT4 on my PS2 console

Neat. Are the readouts below "Water" oil temp and pressure?

the data on the left side were from top to bottom: water temp, oil temp, fuel pressure.

^Maybe because you try to drive, shift, and hold the video camera all by yourself...

We had discussed this, and the problem is that the greddy turbo is peaky. So at 6k rpm if he gives it much throttle, it will spin up and give him full boost, which can throw out the rear end. I'm assuming he already has fix #2, if not this would be a major side effect of not doing it. Even with it, the turbo never seemed to be easy to modulate and sometimes would peak quickly even with light throttle.

If he ever upgrades to something like MM's 3071R turbo, he will be able to modulate boost much better by giving it less throttle, which will result with less boost.

He might be able to get better control by getting the bigger ATPTurbo WG actuator, but I can't verify for sure since I never got to try it.
