^ To that end, one of my favorite things to do is humiliate Lotus owners. I routinely beat Elise / Exige cars. Evoras are also usually not a problem. I have much more difficulty with the Evora S model, if driven by a competent driver on good rubber. People really have no idea how good this car truly is.
My goal for this weekend is to get my 8 ready for track duty again. As good as my Miata is, it just isn't the same as the 8. The 8 is in a higher league.
All bumper brackets and Spirit R headlights are in. I'll take them to the body shop this weekend. It'll probably be a couple months before everything is done, but it's moving along.
oh wait i see. you are getting all the stuff to make the front "s2" the vision will fit without altering?
Yea I decided to just swap the front to an S2 instead of modifying the bumper. I dropped it all off with the body shop last Saturday. They have a lot of work to do on the car, so I'm not sure when it'll be done.
No wonder its so expensive, I tried checking out at japanparts with this bumper just the shipping is $1000 canadian and bumper $1600 but am getting it because its the only aftermarket bumper I would ever consider other than my R3 OEM. Upload some pics with its finished
I wish it weren't $1.5k and I would buy it for multiple Rx8 projects! Trying to find someone who can replicate it locally so I don't have to pay for the crazy international shipping. Don't think it's going to be possible. Best face for the Rx8 no doubt about it.
Not a huge fan of newer mazda front bumpers; however, with a few other cosmetic upgrades I think that bumper would help make a really unique 8. Looks great!
