RX8 vs G35: G35 Lost.
So, it all happened on monday night, at 9:25 pm. I was in the left turning lane at a stop light, and a white G35 coupe pulls up right beside me to turn left as well. When the light turned green, he punched it. I was not trying to race him because i do not condone to street racing, and flooring it around a corner would put my back end right into him. Anyways, as i was shifting into 2nd going 30-35 mph, about 3 seconds after we took off from the light, he hits me in my passenger side door, then jerks the wheel to the right, goes over a curb, and runs into a brick wall. Later i found out that he got his back end out, did not know how to control the car, and his left front wheel/fender ran into me. His girlfriend was in the car, and was a little shooken up. They were both ok, air bags didn't deploy. He was mature about it and took all the blame, we called the cops and filed a report because of all the damage to the wall. His insurance is going to take care of me, so everything is alright. The kid was 19 by the way, and did not know how to control a rear wheel drive car. He told me he used to have a 350z, but totaled that too.
My Car:
His 07' AT, G35.
The Wall:
Later that night he was driving home, around 11 pm. His hood would not lock down all the way because it was off center. I told him to drive slow. But his hood came up and smashed through his windsheild.

I'm glad he was mature about it, but, jeesh, what an idiot. I wonder if he pays for his own insurance (and cars) or if he's still living off his parents. He needs to learn from his mistakes pretty soon.

Yeah i'm pretty sure he doesnt pay anything towards the car. It was a new 07'. and he didn't seem to know much about cars. All he knew is that it was a pretty car that went fast. His girlfriend was flirting me a little while we were all standing around, maybe she thought my car was much prettier, and i wasn't a dumbass that didn't know how to drive like her boyfriend.

He also said that once his back end let loose, he kept the wheel pointing the same way, and just let off the gas. Instead of correcting it and turning the wheel the other way...God this kid didn't know how to drive. We never got above 35 mph, so i'm still not sure how he hit the wall, if he would of slammed on the brakes, he would have stayed on the road..

Well, since he was an adult about dealing with the consequences, I suppose there is hope for him.
Or perhaps he just knows that daddy will take care of everything for him, no questions asked.
Glad nobody was hurt.
