RX8inSTL's RX-8 Round 2

I really wasn't planning on having any indicator for that other than opening the cap and looking. Now that you have said that though I do feel like when the engine is hot I would like to see the level. Probably will use something similar to what 9k posted about in his pics above.

Thanks bud, I can think of a few others that are just as nice in my opinion but ill take the compliment. I wish I was going to DGRR this year but think I will be skipping this one. I hope to come out next year though, if my plans fall into place the 8 will be at another level IMO.

I ordered a Sakebomb Garage Ignition kit a few weeks ago and have now gotten that installed along with redoing the bracket for my coolant overflow. Looks much better to me I will post some pictures soon.
As far as the Ign kit goes it is very well built, the coils have their own power source instead of the factory wiring, good grounds, and overall very well put together. The coils are said to have a longer spark duration than stock as well as have much quicker recharge times over the LS Style coils. After one drive everything is working well and the car runs great still. This is one of quite a few more mods I plan to do throughout the next few months.

Working on a few projects at the moment including a CAI, and Larger A/W system radiator so hopefully I can finish those soon. Hopefully the results are positive.
I have been working mostly under the hood with the car lately. I made a nicer mount for my coolant overflow tank, hooked up a dual mishimoto catch can set up(one for engine oil and the other for the SC), and installed my SakeBombGarage ignition kit. The car has been running very well on the Low boost pulley with the Pettit flash on the ECU, I am trying to improve things as much as possible without changing either of those things. The SakeBomb Igniton kit has been working very well with the same dwell times that my OEM coils were running. And with the catch cans I no longer have oil spurting in the engine bay but I still need to work on the engine oil setup as I am getting a lot of oil pulling into the can. With that said I am really enjoying the car and have some pretty big plans over the winter.

Thanks a lot. Means a good bit coming from you. All your cars are sweet.
Glad that I could show you how well it looks, and thanks.
MS Wing came in the mail yesterday. Lots of things happening with the car now. Hopefully in the next few months things will all be back together 100%.

Well I have finished up a few projects and have a few still to do but things are wrapping up. I finished nearly all my wiring which includes a engine bay wire tuck as well as hooking up gauges inside.
I am going to display boost and engine coolant temp on my goodbox. The prosport gauges display fuel pressure, AFR's, SC coolant temp and oil pressure plus temp.
I still have a bit left to do in the engine bay but the main harness on both sides now runs through the fenders. Only one wire was harmed in the completion of this project.

So I pretty much had everything finished that I wanted to do and made it out to DGRR this year. I had a great time and the car ran very well. Almost 3,000 miles over 4 days and I didnt have any issues. I have a ton more pictures I hope to post in the next couple weeks but for now I have a few from the Tail of the Dragon.
I have some small projects that I want to finish with the car over the summer/fall but other than that I do not have any big plans with the car for a bit. I am hoping to start putting a little more money towards my TurboII.
