Thanks for all the kind words guys. Only one picture for the day. :/ It was a good day though finally got the engine and tranny mated up.

Lots to do tomorrow... and prolly till next weekend. Anyway we will continue the journey tomorrow wish me luck ill need it. Tomorrow tomorrow one of the things on my agenda is the manifold engine brackets and mounts... Yikes.

To be fair I haven't done a single thing except help out with the seat belt light and answer a few random questions.

I wish i could have done more . It would have been my 5th engine install and 7th removal!

No, I could not get anyone to coat the inside for me. Its suppose to be a very nice heat coating that is able to withstand well beyond what EGTs i should see.

First time you fill it with oil you might get a surprise

With the 2 Setrab coolers and -10 lines..and the same oil pan I have 9+ quarts of oil in the system.

you wouldn't want that - anything coming loose and it's bye bye turbo .

my down pipe is both in and out but like brettus said, if something somehow flaked (which is really unlikely but can happen) then it would go through the turbo and that would be bad

well on the DP it wouldn't be a big deal, it would just get blown out. But on the manifold yeah. Hell my "coating" is just about all gone. I am pretty sure it was just high temp engine paint at best.

If not him then I guess there is always the pro choice?
