I had my headders ceramic heat coated 1 cat on the inside and 2 outside seems to be holding up to the extreme heat really well. Survived two track days and the stainless steel exhaust had turned purple

shouldn't matter if you are SC'd. The issue is the ceramic material flaking off in large enough chunks to bend the fins of the turbine shaft. This gives you an out of balance turbo and a fairly giant cluster **** you will never know about. Until of course your whole turbo fails per-maturely and you are out $1500

If the pipes are treated properly and the coating applied correctly it should not flake off. Mine are holding on after a year of hard driving.
I am sure it is commonly used in turbo situations so it is best to check with the coating company of any failure reports.

don't coat the inside, I have a 2500 degree silicone type on mine and also have tried jet hot. it has always flaked on the outside on the first 90 bend, inside i could see being very bad. Now could it be the prep, maybe but his powder coating he has done for me is top notch

No I have only heard good things. I really want to make a trip out there. I'd like to get that strut bar powdercoated. maybe I can get the strut bar, the air diversion panel, and the cold side piping done all at the same time.

I would love to get my piping done as well... As soon as I decide on how I am doing my piping.

9krpmrx8 holding the fan pack. This set up pulls alot more air through the rad pac then the stock set up. The wiring on the fans is not larger then the OEM. It may draw a few more AMP's then normal but I am willing accept that. All connectors that have been cut or have redone to done to mil speck and hard soldered.
Lot younger than what I thought
Awesome build guys. Another inspiring project.
