Scooby WRX spoiler exact fit
Hi
just thought i would share this little discovery with you all and that is that the low level spoiler off my old Scooby WRX fits perfectly on my RX8.
See pics below! I have had it covered in carbon fibre affect vynal which is pressed and you can't tell the difference apart that it has a matt effect.
I think it looks quality and so unique!!!
Still also managed to trim and fit the Rx8 lip spoiler!!
What do you think??

not bad, but I would eliminate one of the 3rd brake lights
i think it would look good if the one on the trunk was gone along with a complete debadge
edit: not feeling the modded lip spoiler...it's one or the other

spoiler looks good, but would remove a light as others have said... or just cut power to one. The way the stock one has the rx-8 thing over it looks good without the light on in my opinion. I dont mind the fins but they look a little crooked and spaced unevenly...
Can we get a side shot of the car with the spoiler? Interested in seeing how it flows with the car from the side...

Fins are vortex generators, like on the lancer evo 9 and 10. fyi they are not crooked or unevenly spaced, they are all measured exactly and they are angled for airflow over the car! they create a smooth and increased airflow over the car to increase downforce in conjunction with the spoiler! And it works, stability over 100 mph is grately increased.
The spoiler is from a 98 jap import WRX.
Thanks for comments, its interesting to see all the points of view!!!
Different strokes for different folks!! lol

Wow! You must have serious connections to have gotten windtunnel time to arrive at that conclusion.

Yep too many brake lights. I would fill in the trunk light.
What's up with the roof fins?
Never seen them mounted at an angle. That defeats teh purpose.
Beside the RX 8 doesn't need those there.
A better loacatin in attached to the bottom bumper for aero dynamics.
