Awesome to see how they look on a an 8. When I mentioned those about 4 months ago or so I was skeptical, but they look good. I'm glad with my choice to go with an orange center and polished lip however so they wont be too similar. Its a great year for Volks!

Specifically look to see where on the tires it is rubbing. If you still can't tell, try driving up a ramp or one wheel up a driveway until there is contact. Some setups require plenty of shaving while others may just need a hefty roll. If you were in SoCal I'd be more than happy to meet up and help you out.

The fenders clear the tires, its just very very close. Typically I'll drive one wheel up a ramp or up to a curb to see the clearance.
Does not touch, whatsoever. I just drove 30 miles with two passengers yesterday and didn't hear a thing.
Ross - The fenders clear fine at full lock
And yes, I am now extremely paranoid about my car! LOL!

Bro The screw that holds the rear bumper to the fender; hows that not rubbing? Did u shave it or bend it up?

You can shave it off or pull it off. I'm trying to remember if my new bumper even uses it or not. But both ways I have done it on peoples car is to get in there with a grinder and go to town or get at it with a dremel wheel and cut it completely off.
I dont think the wheel gets close enough to hit the screw though... but on the front screws holding the bumper on and on the rear I shaved them (and their washers) flat, as far as I could go. Never rubbed one bit. You saw how those back tires looked when you got em, brand new and not one scratch. You can dump that car to the ground and not rub in the front or in the back and that's WITH the side markers, you just need to know what to do. Hit me up again if you need help.

Are you referring to the same piece I told you to shave when I sent you the wheels?...

Yeah, you saw some of the pics I sent. I'm up in NorCal so we all roll "HellaFlush" I had that b*tch sitting on the rims almost lol. Its easier to do with larger rims though so its a lot less burden lowering the car with 18s/19s...

jesus christ. i love the wheels...lots of beautiful sets. those prodrives are vicious.
obviously this is just my personal opinion, but that stance is ridiculous looking...and not in a good way. also, why run only 245s on 10.5 inch rims? they look pretty undersized.
regardless, nice pics.

I'll agree the the Prodrives were his nicest set, they just fit the smoothness of the stock body lines the best.
Anyone hoping to be a wheel hoar its doesn't take much more than internet and persistence.. Helps to live in CA where a lot of the FS/FT adds will be located.
1. Get a nice set of wheels at a good price.
2. Sell said wheels for equal to or more than you originally got em for
3. Use said money to purchase new set of wheels
4. Rinse and repeat as much as you want. All the wheels are in similar price ranges used
OR
1. Get nice set of wheels at a good price
2. Post a "For Trade" add or offer other sellers a trade deal
3. Trade wheels
4. Rinse and repeat as many times as you want, if trades don't work, revert to the sell method.
Now if all those wheels were just chilling in his garage, THAT'D be ridiculous! Ridiculously awesome that is.. lol

Very nice man! I plan on doing a hellaflush'd out RX-8 here in the very near future. Picking up my daily (busted *** '98 S10) next month and then once my current car sells, i'll be on the hunt for the next car (nordic green metallic RX-8/6MT). Already have it all spec'd out in terms of what suspension & wheel/tire setup I plan on running. Gonna be a bit more aggressive than your setups believe it or not....but I don't plan on driving the car much....so yeah. Anywho, PM me sometime, or i'll PM you sometime, to talk about fitment and all that jazz b/c i'm def gonna need some advise on fender rolling/pulling and camber specs. Keep up the good work dude!

Osshwa - Heh, I believe the rx8 can fit much more aggressive than I have. Big stretch + full neg camber would yield LOADS more clearance!

Oh, and I don't know why my dumb *** said "I plan on running a slightly more aggressive setup". Likely b/c the first time I viewed this thread I was at work and I didn't take the time to view all the pics/specs. But damn....10.5"s w/ a +15 offset. Badass. I'm planning on running a 235/45/17 on a 10" +12 wheel all around. Will fender pulling be required for this?
