tilt, no sweat on the test fit... i'll eventually just get under there and measure everything out myself. any idea on what the weight of your TE's are?
i'm having a tough time rationalizing going from my forged 19" r3 rims to something cast --and possibly 10lbs heavier.

Sadly, I decided I really want to go back to performance, here are some pics I took from another thread:

Bye bye flushness!
Hello rubber!
Picking up some 275's, had to do a preliminary quick shoot just after getting them though - pictured with 245/40. Shame on me for not cleaning them first
And a couple quick goodbye shots

dam those TE's are sexy, i miss mine dearly but i know they went to a good home. In fact i'll admit it, i miss my rx8... =( up until the pull of over 300 lbs of torque kicks your head back all those loud rotary noises and problems seem to dwindle away..hahah

well soo!
we can rev to 9k!
anyways tilt!
i kinda wish you kept the orange ones but the new TEs are sexxy!

wow! slammed and some great wheels!!
Shockingly I really liked the orange! You should write a little "how to do wheels" post, talking about cambers, rolling, shaving, offset, lowering etc, and how it affects performance and tyre life.

That's actually not a half bad idea, the thing is, each person that goes about the process does it slightly different. There is quite a bit of info in the 'aggressive fitment thread' and pretty much anyone can ask and get an answer.
Sadly, it effects performance in quite a nasty way, I actually chose my last setup to fit wider tires and raise the car a bit. We'll see how it all pans out

ofcourse the 8 looks better! Thats why i bought that car. But I guess I just got tired of it after a while. The fix it tickets, the blown motor etc just all piled up. =(
