I have. I work at an exotic car dealership and we've sold four already. Two black, one white, one silver. www.prestige-motors.com
The black one on there was the first one we sold, and I got to drive it for the night as soon as it got off the truck.
Best experience...of my life. Got pics to prove it too.

The cars have a waiting list right now. Nissan dealerships are only allowed 2 in for the year, and in order to sell them they need to train their mechanics on the car and revamp the service department to handle the excessive service needs. SO, we know people who know people, pick up the cars, and sell them for over because we have them NOW as opposed to waiting on the list. People drop their spots and buy because they want instant gratification.
I mean, you go up to manheim auto auction and you usually see two or three there every time.

You gotta do what you love, ya know? I love exotic cars more than anything, and so I just went for it and got lucky I guess. I mean it's not all fun and games, we still have SELL them, we don't get to just drive em like we stole em and then let them sit (although it's a good perk!)
And to my last response I'd like to add to it, call up a few Nissan dealerships and ask them what they are asking for the car. People who are ON the lists are still paying 15-20k over list. NOT to mention Nissan just raised the price of the base by 7k and the premium by 7 or 8k as well "due to increased material costs" apparently.

As long as you love your job thats all that matters. The GTR will go down in price figure ...2 years? Once the craze is gone and there are more sitting in the dealerships you will be able to make a deal. Until then... I be saving

We have a lot of customers who have old Porsche Turbo's that trade them in (+ money) for 997 styles. Same with 360's to 430's etc.
So figure a price drop there, and then just hope Nissan starts making more and if the market gets flooded a bit they will drop in price.
Trust me when I say this. It is worth every goddamn penny of the price AND the jacked up price. I couldn't stop smiling for days.
