smoked corners, front grill, oil cooler grills
so I finally did some stuff to my car!!
didn't really feel like paying $60 for clear corners, so I tried to darken them insdead - I like it.
Then the grill - that has been done for awhile - did some work in the back - no pics yet - we have to keep our plates on the front here in BC, so I just decided to fold it over - I think it looks way better than the big plates!
And finally, the cooler cooler grills - just had some extra aluminum mesh at home - We painted it black and cut it down to size. We un-did the front bumper, never took it off and I went in from the wheel wells and screwd the grills into the bumper using the stiock screw holes - take a look if you ever have the bumber off - you will see them. We them added the trim to finish the whole thing off!!
Please give me you comments - good or bad!!
Eventually I want to get the front lip - but really don't want to pay $600 for it (all Canadian prices). If anyone knows of a cheap place to get one, please let me know!
Later!!

I like the corners a lot. I think they would look perfect on Black, Red, and Yellow... although they looks great on the silver also. What did you use to darken them? Anyone good with photoshop able to see what it would look like on all of the colors?

on the forum otherwise I'd try it on them. Since the clear corners are a different shape and not flush fitting would this work on them? And how easy would it be to get a clean look? Sorry so many questions but I'd love to try this.

Well its pretty easy to use. its almost like tint for you windows buts its actually a vinyl you can get it from any vinyl graphics shop(its a dark trasperant vinyl thats what its called transperant vinyl). And you just place a big chunk over the light you wanna smoke and use a razor to cut to the shape of the light and then use that plastic thing they use to flatten the tint to squeeze any bubbles out and bam you have smoked corners or tail lights and at night it lights of like a dark orange and the rear is still really bright. The front looks really nice too but i had my whole front windshield tinted(which i will be doin on my new 8 too.Highly recommended if you live somewhere really hott) so it was harder to see with both tinted.

hmm whoever has the clearcorners on their car must have those stock orange corners stashed in some corner of their house. Maybe you could smoke the orange ones out and sell them on ebay or something. Just an idea...
