I don't know photography but I do realize if a picture looks like doo-doo or not. And yours do not. Nice! I especially like the setting you chose.

FINALLY someone knows how to work a camera at night. I can't tell you how many people take pictures of their cars in almost pitch black and think the shot is awesome.
Good pics, great job.

Great pics bud!
I too just got my RX8. I picked mine up on the 26th of April. I am in the car business and had pretty much every car under 40k to choose from and went with the 8. I will get some pics up soon, weather sux down here right now.
I got in a little trouble from my boss since I work for a GMC Pontiac dealer. I think they expected me to buy a GTO... Oh well

hehe thank you all for your positive comments! seems like you guys enjoyed it as much as i did
Answering some of your questions, the camera i used was Sony DSC-V1. The setting i used is F2.8 and 0.5sec +/- 0.5 sec shutter speed (forgot which one for which picture).
The background is actually what it looks like, HUGE chimnies. They were used before to burn stuff...i guess to melt metals? I'm in PIttsburgh so it would make sense if it has something to do with processing metal or something :p
Thanks again! I love my car more and more each day :D

Be-yoooooooooo-tiful night shots!
I love the way #4 picks up the gold in your red paint (look above the RX-8 badge) along with the gold lit chimnies And the dark shadows of tree branches in front of those chimnies too.
Gorgeous pics! Nice work.

Shoot to Thrill...
Nice pictures, nice car
Just a photo tip, even though I think your pictures look great, this is just a tip for you. You should pretty much never put the subject of the picture (RX-8 in this instance) exactly in the center of the picture, unless you're taking portraits. Just something I had heard all the time in photo classes
