Here in Cali you wouldn't have to pay for it.
If it happened in an Apartment garage, the complex is responsible.
Got me a new windshield that way
It is sad to see this happen to anyone. Look in to having your complex pay for it.

Man..that sucks big time. Hope you get it all fixed up in no time.
My car is in garage too. But I don't usually lock my garge door .........now I'm thinking maybe I should...... I have some mad haters in my neighborhood too... these guys who live about three houses away from me.... They have these tricked out civics and RSXs ..... They give me hateful looks and stare at me everytime I drive by.......hopefully it stops there..... f*&king losers.....

wow this sucks.....here in jersey it would be the responsibility of the complex as well.....i would have hurt some one bad if i found out who did that.....but at least now you got an excuse for a sick paint job

Man im sorry but this has "ex involvement" written all over it. Even haters wouldnt go through the trouble of the B&E/Tresspass to get at ur ride. Walking by in a vacant parking, yes, but actually busting into ur garage? No. This was a passion driven crime my friend. You think ur ex girl doesnt know where u live??? LOL yea right, she prob knew before u even moved ur **** in. Do not underestimate the fury of a women scorned. This looks like the work of an ex and/or an ex's friend/boyfriend (most likely a 2 person job, one to lookout and one to do damage).

If I'm not mistaken, there's a camera available that records all movement around your vehicle. This would have atleast give us a picture of who did the keying.. Does anyone have a link to that camera?

So I went to my Body shop and showed the car to them. He even said he hadn't seen anything that bad, close but not that bad.
Any way they just e-mailed me the estimate,,,,
Total is,,,,,,,, $3750.52

Oh man I'm so sorry. I'd be going crazy if I were you!
I had somebody "try" to break into my previous car (Mx6 V6) and they caused $2,500 in damage (locks, hinges, window, trunk lid, paint scratches etc) and I couldn't sleep for a month. Even after insurance took care of it, I couldn't rest. I went out and bought 3 sets of flood lights with motion sensors and aimed them in the parking lot, w/ a loaded pellet rifle and paintball marker next to my window, safety switches off and C02 tank ready to go. They never came back around.
The stink of it all is the fact that I can break into a 95 Mx6 LS and disable the alarm in 15 seconds without leaving a scratch. Best of luck catching the rat bastard.

That is the worst key job I have seen ever. So sorry dude 
. I just got keyed about two weeks ago but only my drivers side front door. I wish I could have found them because my 230lb army ranger brother offered to "Break The Bastard" if I ever found out who it was. I would have bought a six pack of beer and a lawn chair and watched him dish out the punishment. I hope everything turns out great when you get it fixed.

wow, i would be goin crazy. why do jealous people have to stoop so low? thats some bull ****. but i agree i might have an eye out for an X's boyfriend. who ever did this should die... on a lighter side you now have a great reason to do that 2 tone you were talkin about. someone actually acted out that country song about trashing the truck. sorry to see it happen man
