Well here it is; barely had it for a year and its been through two major incidents. This little incident happened on Jan 1 @ 12:35am right after the fireworks went off at the needle. I was pulling out of the parking lot when out of nowhere I was struck on the drivers side, it was obvious he was going at an excessive speed because I made sure that the way was clear and his *** came out of nowhere.

Hmmm...hate to see an 8 like that, but it sure seems (based on the photo) that the driver of the 8 is at fault here. Also, that amount of damage would lead me to guess the impact speed to be 15-20mph...hardly "excessive."

Its lookin like its goin his way cuz he was the one with the right of way. The only thing I have goin for me is that I had witnesses two of them were in the car with me and the other being behind me. They all said that he was goin too fast for the situation and there should have been no reason why he wouldn't have been able to avoid me if he were goin any slower.

 

Clearly you didn't have the right of way - and therefor the other driver should not need to slow down to avoid you. You being unable to see the other car while pulling out isn't a valid excuse either. When the police came over, did they give the other driver a ticket for speeding? If not, I would assume you're boned.

 

No, if we both had insurance and no one was injured then there was no need for the police as the 911 operator said. And yes I am boned. 8==D

If a Car pulls out in front of you, What are you going to do? Stop? or Run into the Car?

I don't want my 8 all wrecked up, So when people do this to me in there Cars I stop! Why could the guy not stop? Where there skid marks cuz he was going fast? I just dont get it.

Well..I don't care what the pics say....I still blame it all on that crappy looking honda!! hahaha.... I think the honda intentionally ran his car into 8 cuz he/she hated his/her car and wanted some money to buy a new car!!! We ( 8 fellows ) should stick together no matter what! hahaha.......!! So it's all that crappy honda's fault. He or she could have stopped and didn't INTENTIONALLY!! Cuz obiviously the speed wasn't a factor and he/she would be able to hit the break if they wanted to!!!

Good thing you guys didn't call the cops.......I hate cops...all they probably would do is to complicate the situation! ...besides cuz there wasn't any cop, you didn't have to pay the ticket......and also you could still argue that it's partially the honda's fault cuz there isn't any police report that indicates its yours!!! ha!

 

You can say that...you didn't pull out entirely.....you were just waiting with your head sticking out abit more than it's supposed to and he ran into you...ha!!!!! and don't show the pics to insurance companies. LOL!! they won't put it on your record if the mistake is mutual!...:D

I stop too, until the day I'm fiddling with the radio, or my phone, or grabbing my drink and someone pulls out in front of me.

 

Nope the police will hardly even come out unless there is blood...Simple fender benders they leave up to the drivers to handle (trade insurance)

 

Not exactly, all you need to do is exchange insurance policy numbers and your drivers lisense numbers, with general information like names and addresses.

dude....wait...were you at the space needle that night? I think I saw your car!!...were you parked in the event parking?? I parked my car in there too. We were walking to our car and we saw this blue rx8 which looked exactly like mine!! was it yours?? Man....space needle's fireworks sucked big time that night! They said the computer melfuntioned or something.
