You know it looks pretty darn good without the R3 lower lip installed. Makes the conversion a lot more affordable since the R3 bumper is pretty much the same price as the non R3 one. I may go this route as well! Pretty sure the bumper is still stiff without the lower lip right? Won't flap in the wind? And did you reuse your original lower middle piece as well? Thanks!

yea the bumper is pretty stiff. i used the factory mounting points and the middle piece too most of it bolted right up the inner fenders i would recommend getting the R3 ones being that the others are different

I got the bumper online thur a Mazda dealer that gave me a good price but retail the bumper is like 400 but I'm sure you can find them cheaper then that tho
