Scoreboard update:

Bambi: 1
RX-8: 0

unless of course the hit actually killed Bambi which would even up the score...

Really sucks to see that happen to your car. Good luck with the repairs

Sorry to hear about your car. Just be glad you were not on a motorcycle, or rather a sports bike model when you got hit or hit it. I know first hand what a bitch it is when you go down on a sports bike from those things and the painful aftermath.

I just made sure I was its karma the following hunting season to land it on my dinner plate.

Looks like the door can probably be fixed instead of being replaced.

Odds are it died. Think about how long any of is would last if we hit a car hard enough to do that much damage.

FWIW, deer does taste pretty good. The problem with getting it in a restaurant (my only source, since I don't hunt) is that most chefs think they need to do something with it, and will cover it with sauces and seasonings that completely obscure the taste.

Agree. I know people that hunt and have eaten venison with them, and they hardly do anything, seasoning and marinade-wise, and it's great

We cook different parts of the deer differently based on where the meat came from. Some are turned to steaks, some roasts, others for fondue and the best is making your own deer jerky.

Sorry to see that damage. Deer don't have to be going too fast to do damage to a car. Hope you car gets fixed up better than ever.
