There simply is no excuse for this ... I nominate this insect for the "Ugliest Car of the New Millenium" and think it has a high percentage probability to actually WIN :D

Give me a billion candle-power rig like that, let bubba pass me on the highway, then WHAM-O! arc-weld his ears to the back of his head. :D :D :D

Y'all need to look for pictures of Porsches when they raced the 911's and 959's in the Paris to Dakar rallye and the series that became the current WRC. They had a 4 light setup that fit between the headlights that was very similar. It didn't look nearly as hideous when it was attached to a proper sportscar.

I would like to point out that no one in the picture seems to care to actually look in the general direction of that car...
J/k... don't flame, I know why those lights are there. Rally racing is awesome. I love watching them do it in the snow. It's crazy. I can't believe they don't all die.

One of the limitations of conventional centermount light pods is that it blocks the flow of air to a top mount intercooler, WRX's can't even run a "leBra" due to the redirection of airflow. I wonder if this is what PIAA was trying to solve for. I do however agree that it is not a very attractive solution, but hey if it works they more power to them. Maybe it will allow privateer teams to run less expensive top mounts more affectively with aux lighting.
On the topic of Function vs. Form, I love my WRX, but it will never be as pleasing on the eye as an RX-8. Thats apples and oranges. Can't we all just get along?
