Why is it as if every 8 has it's bumper color mismatched? Is it only me? Guys look closer and u might know what im talking abt

paint bonding agent (needed for painting plastic bumpers) underneath top layer (such as "Bulldog" or "Eagleflex") can change the hue of the color, from my understanding.

The VR 8 has the Knight Sports S/C kit. tofu_box has a build thread on his 8.

This /\ and not properly correcting the colour for the "plastic primer".
and/or
Faded paint and painter just sprays oem colour without taking bleaching into consideration. Also different clearcoats have a slight hue to them once settled.

A good paint shop should be able to keep this under control, Maaco however won't.

yeah i suspected that, i brought that up cuz i wanted to see if there's any solution to that lol. cuz i bought my ms bumper new and it's a significantly lighter shade than my overall body, it seems to blend in well with the fenders, but not the hood. so i'm trying to figure out if i shud "repaint" the hood or the bumper, or more like recoat the clearcoat? idk... help!

i got rear ended about two months ago and got my ms bumper painted and ended up with same result... (at least it's not a maaco job..)
