wtf? what is all of this crap about 'resources in massachussetts,' and 'california having more technology.' where the hell do you get that impression? you make it sound like massachussetts is its own third world country. i dont see how there could be any difference other than the fact that he would have to put his stock bumpers and snow tires on for winter. he can get anything that an rx-8 owner in cali could get, yet he chose to get an ugly kit and a park bench.

Seriously, yes, this is an RX8forum where we go to see other people's RX8s, but it doesn't mean I HAVE to like everyone's setup merely based on the fact that it's the same car I drive.
Personally I wouldn't be caught dead in your car. I don't need people laughing at me as I drive by. I guess my priorities are all messed up where I'd rather spend my hard earned money on my house and investments instead of making a 10-star rating ricemobile for Need For Speed Underground.
For the future, if you don't want criticism right off the bat, I wouldn't title my threads "for all those who thought my car is WHACK".

i dont know if this is show car worthy, its definately a pretty nice street car but to tell you the truth it aint a REAL show car. REAL show cars generally will have entire new FIBERGLASSED interiors with all of the newest electronics DVD players, LCD screens, top quality head units amps and speakers. they also have tons of unnecesary neon lighting, they also have more mods than you can count. show cars generally weigh ALOT and are focused more towards show(obviously) than engine mods. show cars arent daily driven and are not that fast most of the time because of all of the junk on them, MOST of the time their just cars purely to exhibit a company's products or services as a form of advertisement.

I just don't get the gigantic spoiler look and how anyone can think that looks good, but I also don't understand how William Hung has managed to sell albums but somehow he does, so maybe I'm just missing something.
Anyways spoiler aside, I just don't like how the carbon fiber hood looks on the blue. It makes the car look incomplete, like its waiting for a paint job. Maybe its just the picture quality but the hood looks very dull and to me it looks like something that was pulled off a junked car.
I'm not trying to flame here, I'm just telling you my impression upon seeing those pics. If you post pics of a car modded like that your likley to get some negative opinions.
BTW you should really blur out your license plate. Posting your plate number on a public forum is seldom a good idea.

1) Boston vs Cali mods? There's this service called UPS that delivers you items... doesn't matter where you live. You find it, they ship it to you.
2) I've seen some nice rides in the Florida area... so it can't just be here.
3) You are cocky. You said you would show us how a REAL show car should be like... as if you are a the epitome of fixed up rides. Look at the way you post... if you weren't cocky, and accepted some realistic criticism, you would see that some of these posts are complimenting your ride. Instead you attack people, call them out as if they don't know anything about "REAL" show cars..etc.
4) We don't all have the same taste in cars. We drive the same cars, but you made your's different. Just like other people made them different. Just a clarification.
5) Just because it's "Veilside" doesn't mean you have to go all out with it... the wing really is a bit too much. Obviously you like this wing above all the other types... Mazdaspeed, Rmagic, Ings+1, Mint Blue, Stock OEM, etc etc... so you prefer it this way. Fine. But to the majority of us.. its not just the 25+ club that doesnt dig the park bench look.... 23 here and im no fan of the shopping cart handle style it gives a car... like it should be pushed around as a toy by some giant toddler.
the veilside kit-- im no fan, but it looks good from some angles, and some people like that kind of thing too. imo there are much cleaner looking kits out there.
the one thing i cant stand however is the 2fast street talk.... come on. "people will be able to tell i have street cred because i use a "z" instead of an "s"." it doesnt make you look cool, it doesnt add any emphasis to what you are saying..... it just pisses most people off and makes you look really really ignorant. you are the kind of person that if i knew i would make fun of you to your face..

at first i thought your car was pretty hot. then you got cocky as hell its not the nicest car... and yes this is an rx8 forum yes we all have the same car and give our imputs but when you try saying your car is basically better then ours with those mods you did, thats when it becomes a problem. different people, different taste. compare your car to others on the forum. and its not even worth a second look at your car so stop being so damn cocky.

Nowhere did I mention that a car has a wing would someone NOT buy it... I said if someone wanted a wing that big, they may have wanted to buy a STI or an EVO. Nothing wrong with wings.... just don't go overboard.Also not all Veilside is "extreme"... you really have to see the kit in person. It's not that bad... the wing is bad. But the kit isn't bad. I've seen it on Shawrf's car and it looks really nice. For a Show car it's nice. For an everyday driver, prolly not, wouldn't be practical. Besides, my point to him was that just because he was going with a Veilside kit, doesn't mean he must get a Veilside wing.
